Ultimate One Piece Filler List

Ultimate One Piece Filler List

If you have been watching anime for a while, you will know that One Piece anime series has been around for a while. The first episode came out in 1999 and 876 episodes later, the series is still going strong.  Now the amount of content that has been released in this series is exceptional.

However, since these anime series are based on their respective manga comics, the entire plot, series characters, and themes are drawn from them. But here is the catch, since these series have been around for a while now, not all of the 876 episodes are adding to the original story of the series.

What happens is that since these Manga comics do not come out as these series do, the creators have to make do with filler content. Now, fille content is pretty common in the anime world but for an anime fan, it can go both ways.

For some, it might be an additional opportunity to learn about their favorite characters but for some, it might be frustrating because this filler content does not add any value to the plot of the series.

There are many filler contents in all of the anime series out there. However, if a one-piece filler list was to be made, it could be summed up in about 100 episodes. In fact, a total of 12 % episodes from the series can be deemed as filler content and could be entered into the one piece filler list.

The story takes us through the adventures of Monkey D, Luffy, and their struggles to find the treasure as aspiring pirates. But sometimes the series did have its share of filler content. So today we are talking about that one piece filler list of episodes.

But in comparison to other anime like Naruto or Bleach, the One Piece filler list can be considered really short. In fact, the One Piece Filler list could be considered a baby. In the entire series which has been around for about 20 years now, the one piece filler list can be comprised from a total of 12 filler arcs.

  • Warship Island Arc  - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 54-61.
  • Post-Alabasta Arc  - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes131-135
  • Goat Island - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 136-138
  • Ruluka Island This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 139-143
  • G-8 - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 196-206
  • Ocean's Dream This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 220-224
  • Foxy Returns - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 225-226
  • Lovely Land - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 326-335
  • Spa Island  - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 382-384
  • Little East Blue - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 426-429
  • Z's Ambition - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 575-578
  • Caesar Retrieval - This particular arc in the one piece filler list lasted from episodes 626-628

Other than these arcs which make a fair one-piece filler list, there have been individual episodes that could be a part of the list too. If a One-Piece filler list was to be made for these episodes then it would be as following : 50, 99, 102, 213, 280-283, 291, 292, 303, 317, 318, 336, 406, 407, 492, 499, 506, 542, 590.

Apart from all the episodes and arcs, there are additional episodes that have not been added to one-piece filler list but these episodes spend time on non-trivial details that are not significantly important in the manga comic.

There have been additional trivial matters, these cases entailed Usopp going up against Daddy but they have not been added to the one-piece filler list.

So there you have it, the one-piece filler list. But as we titled this blog to be ultimate one-piece filler list, these parts and bits of the series are qualifying to be part of the list. These bits and pieces which are part of the one-piece filler list could be easily skipped as they don’t have any significant value towards the building up of the plot of the series.
